今年も今日で終わりですね。
The last day of the year...

川に見えますが、海。
Looks like a river, but it's the ocean.
ここは朝9時から夕方5時までのオープンで、入場料約6000円（2009年12月）で、すべてのアクティビティが無料 レンタルシュノーケルセット、チューブ（浮き輪） ハンモックやビーチチェアも勝手にどうぞって感じです。。。this place is open from 9am-5pm, and with an entrance fee of $60 (as of 09Dec), all activities are free; snorkel set rentals, floating rings, hammocks, beach chairs....
自然保護のために、日焼け止めは決められたものしか使えないようになっており入口で検査して変な化学薬品が入っていたら、帰るまでおあづけです。。。代わりに自然のために大丈夫な日焼け止めをサンプルでくれます。結構これで充分 To preserve the environment, we can only use certain kinds of sunscreen which is check for at the entrance using chemical testing. If it seems unsafe, they will hold on to it until you go home... but will instead also give you a sample of safe sunscreens, and it is usually enough.
遊歩道は裸足で歩いても何の問題もないほどきれいに掃除が行き届き気持ちがいいです。The walkways are more than clean enough to walk on bare-foot, so it feels really nice.
しかも！食事、飲みのもアルコールも含めすべてが何度でも無料!!!という画期的な施設なんです！(◎皿◎)!!
ノンアルコールカクテルも作ってくれます。Food, drinks, even alcoholic beverages are all free, as much as you like! They even can make you non-alcoholic cocktails.
冷えたお水もご自由に〜 fresh cold water, as much as you like
レストランはメイン棟の他に、バーや、軽食レストラン（ハンバーガーやタコスなどがおいてある）があり、何回出入りして食べてもかまわないのです。朝昼夕、3回しっかり入りました。（チップもいりません）Restaurants are in the main building, but there are bars and snack booths (where they have tacos and hamburgers), and you can go in and out as many times as you like. I got my 3 good meals of the day.
遊ぶのも忙しいし、食べるのもいそがしかったああ〜〜。゜(p´ロ`q)゜。It was soo busy eating and playing.

シェルハはマヤ語で水の涌き出るところという意味。その名のとおり透き通った水辺は、古来人々に愛されてきた美しい遊泳場。自然に仕切られた入り江は、急流などの危険が少なく、安心して遊べます。Xel-ha means "flowing water", and as it is named, clear water was plentiful in pools which the ancient people of Maya bathed. The naturally made bays have no dangerous currents, making a safe place to play.
