ボラット

17日(木) は映画『ボラット』を観ました。

アメリカ文化をリポートする番組制作のため，カザフスタンよりNYにやってきた国営テレビの突撃レポーター･ボラット(サシャ･バロン･コーエン)。
TV番組の「ベイウオッチ」に登場するキャラクター，C.J.パーカー(パメラ･アンダーソン)を見たボラットは一目で恋に落ち，彼女と結婚したいと思うのだが，いかんせんすでに既婚で，故郷の妻からは「浮気しようもんならペニスをへし折ってやるわよ」と釘を刺されている身なのだった。
ところが，故郷から妻の突然の死を告げる電報が届く。
大喜びして「彼女の初めての男になり」そして結婚するためにプロデューサーのアザマット(ケン･デイヴィシャン)を説き伏せて「ベイウオッチ」のロケ地であるロサンジェルスに向かうボラット。
米国の運転免許を取り，中古のアイスクリーム屋台を購入し，アメリカ横断の旅が幕を開けた。

すごくハチャメチャな映画でしたね。
でもよく笑えましたし，楽しい映画であったことには違いありません。

この映画を巡っては，いろいろな訴訟が起こっているそうです。
